GARY LINEKER'S PRISTINE £4M LONDON HOME WHERE HE WELCOMED TWO REFUGEES

Gary Lineker, 62, has a beautiful home reported to be worth £4 million in Barnes, an affluent neighbourhood in London. As well as occasionally sharing his property with his four sons George, Harry, Tobias and Angus, the former Match of The Day presenter also generously opened his doors to multiple refugees in the past.

The 63-year-old welcomed a law student named Rasheed to his home in 2021 for 20 days. He later gushed about Gary's generosity: "Although Gary is a star, he leads a simple life. He is never proud of his status. He is a very sympathetic, caring and human-loving man."

Take a look around the former footballer's beautiful home, including a gym and a cinema room…

Home gym

The star doesn't need to leave his home when he wants to squeeze in a workout. In the basement, a state-of-the-art gym has a treadmill and exposed brick walls decorated with gold boots - a nod to his 1986 World Cup win.

Pristine kitchen

Gary cooked up a storm for presenter Piers Morgan, but he did not confirm if this took place in his own personal kitchen. The star whipped up a meal on a large stainless steel cooker and matching extractor hood. On either side, the built-in cupboards house glasses, cookbooks and plates, and there are also plenty of drawers for storage.

The room also has a large marble island in the middle with a sunken sink and the flooring is a traditional herringbone style.

Gary appears to have an open-plan entertaining space with green walls and glass chandeliers. A fridge sits in the corner, while a leather sofa is positioned on the back wall with a red rug covering the wooden floors

The space has sliding doors that open into the garden, where he enjoyed a drink with his son.

Private garden

Gary gave fans a glimpse into his garden via Instagram Stories revealing a spacious lawn area with towering trees. In one corner, there is a seating area marked by a curved green bush and a fire pit that sits in the middle, while a small wooden pergola has an additional seating area beneath it.

Light and airy lounge

Back in 2020, Gary transformed his living room into a makeshift TV studio while working from home. The bright blue sofa steals the show, but the room itself is also pretty impressive with very high ceilings and traditional wooden floors.

A large chandelier hangs in the centre of the room and there are gold leaf-shaped lights on the far wall.

The star also has a very impressive television set which garnered a lot of attention from fans for being so large!

Dining room

Statement lighting continues into Gary's dining room where there is a low-hanging light fitting, and the space has also been decorated with a piece of artwork.
