RAY J SAYS HE IS 'SUICIDAL' AND 'HATES HIMSELF' IN WORRYING POST AFTER BET AWARDS

Ray J has made a shocking claim that he's feeling suicidal in a recent post on his official Instagram page.

The singer shared an old photo of himself at the 2024 BET Awards, which was originally posted by Power 1051 on Sunday, June 30. He added a disturbing caption in red, referencing an incident backstage at the show and then after the show.

"The s--- that. Is Happening is mind blowing - it's making me suicidal and uncomfortable with the perception of reality!" He wrote the post on Monday morning (July 1), just hours after he was involved in a dispute outside GloRilla's BER Awards after-party.

A Zeus Network executive and Ray reportedly got into a heated argument about fighting each other, as bodyguards tried to break up the situation. The R&B performer allegedly ended up throwing a punch but did not hit anyone.

At one point, he reportedly grabbed a backpack out of his car and went back into the crowd, It's unclear what was in the bag, but Ray's team was able to get him back into the vehicle and leave without any further issues.

Ray J has sparked concern with a series of alarming social media posts, where he claimed BET barred him from the backstage area during his break. He expressed confusion and frustration, stating: "I don't know who they didn't want me to see -- it was weird."

The star also vented about the network's treatment towards him: "THEY PAID ME TO SHUT UP AND I DID! I FEEL BAD AND HATE MYSELF FOR IT! I DON'T WANT ANYMORE OF YOUR DIRTY MONEY! !"

In his lengthy post, Ray J denounced money as evil and criticized people's nature. The 43-year-old took the opportunity to apologize to his sister, Brandy, vowing: "I will make it right, I won't let them get away with it!"

He concluded his message ominously: "I TOLD THE PEOPLE CLOSE TO ME THAT I FELT LIKE SOMETHING IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. F--- IT, I SAID IY [sic]".

This incident follows a previous episode in October 2022 when Ray J alarmed fans with posts suggesting suicidal thoughts. He shared videos of himself on a ledge at night, contemplating if life was an illusion and hinting that his "true reality" might be in the next life.

He even polled his followers on whether he should jump. While Ray J did not directly comment on those earlier posts, R&B legend Brandy later shared a heartfelt tribute to her brother, posting a nostalgic photo accompanied by the caption: "Need you bro @rayj" along with prayer hands emoji.
