Keith Lee responded with righteous indignation on Monday to a mix-up with Taraji P. Henson during the BET Awards in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old TikTok food critic took to the social media platform owned by Chinese internet company ByteDance after Taraji, 53, got him confused with fellow TikTok personality Jordan Howlett during the awards ceremony held at the Peacock Theater, according to an article on Monday by ET.

Taraji during a comedy skit in which she 'gave people their flowers' spotted Jordan and called him a 'Method Man look-a-like'.

'Meth is married. Are you?,' Taraji asked while addressing Jordan.

'Mr. Keith Lee, I know what you're thinking right now, this is about a 10.9 outta 10?,' Taraji then asked while borrowing Keith's catchphrase.

Jordan quickly pointed toward Keith and his wife, Ronni, who were sitting next to him.

Taraji made a funny face to the camera while acknowledging her mistake.

'I got caught up in my own inner monologue, I’m so sorry,' she told Keith while repeating the bit.

She also told Keith that he was 'fine' before moving on.

'Give him his flower,' Taraji said as an assistant handed a rose to Keith.

In a since-deleted TikTok post, Keith dramatically dropped the rose Taraji gave him on the ground.

'Our name will be known in every room it's supposed to be, when it's supposed to be, how it supposed, with no confusion. God is Amazing,' Keith posted along with a praying hands emoji and a 'thankful' hashtag.

Keith has a mixed martial arts background and began using TikTok in November 2020. He began posting restaurant reviews in 2021.

The food critic and his wife Ronni have two daughters.

Taraji returned as host for the 24th BET Awards and it was her third time hosting after previously hosting the awards ceremony in 2021 and 2022.

The BET Awards included a special tribute to Usher, 45, who was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Usher also won Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, while SZA was named Best Female R&B/Pop Artist.
