BIG BROTHER STAR CHANELLE HAYES BEDRIDDEN 'IN PAIN' JUST DAYS AFTER TYING THE KNOT

Big Brother star Chanelle Hayes finally said 'I do' to long-term partner Dan Bingham, but has now been left bedridden "in pain".

Chanelle and Dan wed in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by their close friends and family. Their big day came a year after announcing their engagement. Chanelle's friends shared snaps of the barn-style wedding party as they sang and danced around tables. The 36-year-old mum of two looked gorgeous in a short white dress with lace sleeves, completed with a matching veil.

Yet just hours later, Chanelle suffered a Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) flare up after being diagnosed with the condition three years ago. She has also been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and posted a snap from her bed. The TV star said: "And the post exam, post wedding CFS /ME crash we knew was finally coming has arrived.

"Pain relief, hot water bottle, fluids, and plenty of sleep for this wife." Chanelle shot to fame back in 2007, when she competed on season eight of the iconic reality series Big Brother aged just 19. She became one of the most talked-about reality stars on television, having captivated viewers with her whirlwind romance with fellow housemate Zac Lichman "Ziggy".

Chanelle moved on and welcomed two sons, Blakely, 12, with Middlesbrough footballer Matthew Bates, and five-year-old son Frankie with ex-boyfriend Ryan Oates. In 2022, Chanelle celebrated her engagement to accountant Dan but tends to keep their romance out of the spotlight. She has ditched TV fame for a career in the healthcare industry and has been training to become a fully qualified medic.

TOWIE pal Maria Fowler gave fans a glimpse of Chanelle and Dan's wedding reception. She took to Instagram to share a video of Chanelle's special day. The venue, which is yet to be revealed, was decorated with beautiful flowers and boasted exposed brick walls and a high-beamed wooden ceiling.

Earlier this year, Chanelle admitted she had a picky way to keep the numbers on her wedding guest list down. She shared her hopes for a low-key affair, that would be a far cry from what she would have chosen a few years ago. "Honestly, before if you'd have asked me this 10 years ago, I would have been renting an island like a whole private island," she said on the Secure The Insecure podcast.

"I would have invited people just for the sake of having certain names there. Now I'm like chopping people off the list if they've not text me when I've had Covid." She added: "I don't need to make a big song and dance about me and Dan being the centre of attention because it's a piece of paper at the end of the day and we just want to have a celebration, where we've got people there who we love, who we can enjoy our time with."

Chanelle continued: "I am a Yorkshire born and bred girl at heart, so for me, I would much rather save the money and put it into our home. Or save the money and save it for our children's futures. I want to have a simple wedding with our nearest and dearest where they get to see us, just get to see how much we love each other and have just a lot of special special there."
