MEGAN MCKENNA SHARES HEARTBREAKING SIGN FROM LATE GRANDAD AS SHE SHARES WEDDING UPDATE
Megan McKenna has shared that she received a "sign" from her late grandfather Roy this week whilst underway with the preparations for her upcoming wedding to Oliver Burke.
The singer-songwriter, now 31, lost her late grandad in 2015 and she's previously shared that he had been her "biggest fan". Megan's paid tribute over the years since his passing and has said that she believes he is still supporting her.
The X Factor: Celebrity winner took to Instagram on Wednesday to share with her followers that she had noticed the "sign of a guardian angel" following meetings about her wedding. Megan suggested that it had come from Roy.
Alongside a photo of a feather in her palm, she wrote: "A black feather was wedged in my jumper as I got in the car. Sign of a guardian angel. Just had wedding meetings and this showed up! My grandad must approve of our decisions."
Megan added that she believes her late grandad is with her and her fiancé Oliver, 27, "all the way". She concluded in the caption: "I've always been a believer of feathers. I know he would of loved Oli and is clearly with us all the way."
The former reality TV star announced her engagement to footballer Oliver last year. She's teased to her fans that she is now planning the wedding, amid her pregnancy - which was announced by the couple earlier this year.
Following the post about the feather, Megan shared a video message in which she discussed preparations for the nuptials. She told her followers that she had just visited the wedding venue, though didn't disclose the location.
She said in the video: "Honestly, we have just had the best time looking at our wedding venue. We were just like walking around and imagining everything. We're actually like really organised now. I feel like we've got a lot that we needed to like tick off the last couple of days. It's just so exciting."
Megan continued the message by sharing that envisioning herself at the venue during her apparent visit with Oliver - who plays for Birmingham City F.C. - has been "surreal". She also expressed interest in providing further details to her fans on the platform but suggested she's waiting to do so.
She stated in the clip: "Actually like being there and imagining yourself is very surreal. It's so cool. Yeah, we've just had the best time - it's so exciting." Megan concluded the message by telling her followers on Wednesday: "I wish I could tell you more but I just feel like it's gonna be so exciting when it actually comes to the day and then you guys get to see."
