TRAVIS KELCE REVEALS IT WAS HIS IDEA TO JOIN TAYLOR SWIFT'S ON STAGE IN LONDON AND SHARES HER REACTION

Travis Kelce has shared that his surprise appearance on stage with Taylor Swift at one of her London shows was entirely his idea.

The sports star sent fans into a frenzy when he joined Swift during her Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium.

Discussing the moment on his podcast, New Heights, Kelce, 34, who has been dating the pop superstar since last October said: "I initially mentioned it to Tay. I was like, 'How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era?'"

To his surprise, Swift, 34, found the idea amusing but asked if he was genuinely up for it.

"Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?" she asked, to which he replied: "What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me? I've seen the show enough - might as well put me to work here."

The NFL star made his debut on stage dressed in a tuxedo and top hat, showing off some dance moves before carrying Swift, who pretended to faint, to a sofa.

Reflecting on the most nerve-wracking part of the performance, Kelce admitted, "The one thing I told myself is 'do not drop the baby'. Do not drop Taylor on your way over this couch."

After the initial act, Swift changed into a two-piece sequin costume while Kelce pretended to touch up her makeup. She then performed I Can Do It With A Broken Heart from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

Kelce described the experience as "an absolute blast" and an "honour" to join Swift on stage.

"It's such a fun, playful part of the show," he added. "I didn't disappoint Taylor, so that's all that really matters."

During the Wembley shows, Kelce also had the chance to meet Prince William and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte

On a previous episode of the New Heights podcast, Kelce described the Prince of Wales as "the coolest mother f*****".

He also had special praise for “adorable” Princess Charlotte. "They were an absolute delight to me," he said about the royal trio. "I wasn't sure if I was supposed to bow to them or curtsy, or just be an American idiot and shake their hand.

"The highlight was Princess Charlotte. Prince George was great too, but she was so f****** adorable. I cannot express how much of a superstar she was."
