Madalas po hindi po ako sumusunod kasi bihirang-bihira po tayo makapag perform abroad in front of the Filipino communities there (When the venues are full, we're advised not to mingle with fans, but I usually ignore that since we hardly get to perform for overseas Filipino communities)," Richards shared at a media conference announcing an upcoming Sparkle World Tour he is heading with fellow Kapuso stars.
For Richards, it's the small gestures that matter most. "You shouldn't hold back on any little way you can make their day," he emphasized. "It doesn't really matter what you do — whether it's taking a selfie with them, giving a video greet, shaking their hand, or just smiling at them. Hindi siya kawalan (it's not a loss) for entertainers and celebrities like us to do that. Especially because — and I keep saying this in my interview s— I think we owe it to them, our fans and supporters, that we are where we are right now."
Richards went on to say, "If not for them, there wouldn't be a Sparkle World Tour in the first place because there wouldn't be audiences who'd go out of their way to buy tickets to watch the show. No one would be there to support us, so we owe it to our fans to value them."

The tour kicks off on August 9 at the City National Grove of Anaheim, California, and will be followed by another electrifying show at South San Francisco High School in San Francisco, California, on August 10.

The final leg of the tour will land in Tokyo, Japan, on September 1, featuring Philippine TV's new action hero Ruru Madrid, Sparkle's Prime Gem Bianca Umali, Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward, Kapuso leading man Ken Chan, and again, Rayver and Julie Anne at Nerima City.
