JOEY ESSEX'S NEXT REALITY TV ROLE AFTER LOVE ISLAND REVEALED AS FANS LEFT CONFUSED

Joey Essex has reportedly secured his next TV job after Love Island.

The 33-year-old made a name for himself on The Only Way Is Essex before branching out into more reality TV. He's already been on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, Dancing on Ice, Celebrity Ex on the Beach – and Celebs Go Dating. Now it's thought he's leaving the UK behind to explore opportunities stateside with a new role in the USA.

He's currently starring in this year's series of Love Island on ITV, with fans wondering what exactly he could be up to next after filming almost every show possible.

According to reports, Joey his jetting out to Los Angeles with Netflix to film an upcoming episode of Selling Sunset. "Joey might have a reputation as a bit of a dimwit but he’s not lacking in street smarts," a source told The Sun, teasing an upcoming appearance.

"He has become a very rich man through property and savvy investments. His cousin Chloe Sims is now based in Los Angeles, and Joey was thinking about investing in a pad for himself, which is how the Selling Sunset gig came about.

"On the next series viewers will see Joey tour a megabucks property as part of his hunt for a base across the pond. It also means he’s added another huge reality show to his list — his first for Netflix — which opens up a whole new world of opportunity."

Fans reckon his manager is "working overtime" after watching Joey film so many different TV shows here in the UK. With others suggesting more jobs in America after winning a US audience. "I would bet money his team has pitched him for the bachelor."

Another complained, writing on Reddit: "These trash TV crossovers are moving mad. I’m about to have the same cast across all my shows lmao." Someone else said: "If you haven't watched Selling Sunset, he'll likely just be on for two minutes."

The Mirror has contacted Joey's representatives for comment. The news comes after he was dealt a devastating blow on Love Island, ahead of Casa Amor. It was revealed that Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint were dumped from the villa after a public vote. Joey was left devastated over the news, breaking down in tears over Ronnie going.
