ROLLING STONES CONCERT FOOTAGE PROVES MICK JAGGER'S MINI-ME SON DEVERAUX TAKES AFTER HIM IN MORE THAN JUST LOOKS
He's got the moves like Jagger - and we aren't talking about Adam Levine.
On Tuesday, Mick Jagger‘s girlfriend Melanie Hamrick shared an adorable video on her Instagram Stories that showed just how much their 7-year-old son Deveraux is like the Rolling Stones frontman. The youngest of Jagger's eight kids doesn't just look like a mini version of the legendary rockstar - Deveraux moves like him, too.
The clip, which Hamrick captioned "Living 🙌🏻," captured her son backstage at a Rolling Stones concert. Deveraux shouts out the lyrics before launching into full-body thrashing á la Jagger, wildly hopping and moving his head, arms, and legs. With his long blond hair worn similarly to his dad's iconic mane, Deveraux is truly Jagger's mini-me.
Jagger doesn't get the sole credit for the 7-year-old's dancing though - Hamrick is a retired ballerina who performed with the American Ballet Theatre for 15 years. She told Hello! in May, "[Deveraux] loves to dance, and right now I feel like he's the battle of sport versus dance." Hamrick continued, "And I said, you knot what? Dance really helps sports. So he's doing it all right now, and maybe we'll see - he's a really good fit for ballet." She explained, "He's got the rhythm. He has the instincts."
The kiddo is no stranger to busting a move backstage - Hamrick has taken to sharing short clips of Deveraux singing and dancing at Jagger's shows, and in July 2023, a fan video from a Guns N' Roses concert captured the youngest Jagger thrashing, spinning, and jumping into the splits in a VIP section in front of a sea of attendees.
The 7-year-old is Jagger's only child with Hamrick, whom he's been in a relationship with since 2014. They welcomed Deveraux in December 2016, but before that, the last child the rocker welcomed was his son Lucas, 25, born 17 years prior in 1999. Model Luciana Morad Gimenez was his partner at the time.
The musician welcomed his eldest child, daughter Karis, 53, with actress Marsha Hunt in 1970. Jagger's daughter Jade, 52, followed shortly after from his marriage to ex-wife Bianca Jagger. From his marriage to model Jerry Hall, the Rolling Stones frontman shares daughters Elizabeth, 40, and Georgia May, 32, as well as sons James, 38, and Gabriel, 26.
