ZACH BRYAN TEASES COLLABORATIONS WITH 'GREAT FRIENDS' BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND JOHN MAYER FOR NEW ALBUM

Bryan's new album, 'The Great American Bar Scene,' drops July 4

Zach Bryan's forthcoming album is set to take listeners on a journey through The Great American Bar Scene — and it seems as though he's bringing some pretty famous friends along for the ride.

According to an Instagram post shared by the "Something in the Orange" singer on Tuesday, July 2, his newest body of work, which is set to be released on July 4, will feature special collaborations with Bruce Springsteen and John Mayer, as well as a Bryan Adams sample.

"I wrote and produced all of these with the help of some truly great friends. I finally felt like I's making music again," Bryan shared in a handwritten note as a part of the post.

In the fine print at the bottom of the image, it's mentioned that Springsteen appears on the project courtesy of his label, Columbia Records.

The song "The Way Back" is listed as containing elements from the written work "Heaven" by Adams and his songwriting partner, Jim Vallance. Further vocal sampling contributions from the "Summer of 69" creators appear on the song "Bass Boat."

As for "Track 13" on the project, the notes state it was produced by Bryan, Mayer, Chris Braun and Scott Zhang.

"Track 13" possibly refers to Bryan and Mayer's previously-teased collaborative effort "Better Days," which the two performed live on stage together in June in Los Angeles, per footage on TikTok. In that clip, Bryan delivers the entirety of the song's vocals while Mayer helms an ethereal guitar solo with a bit of country twang.

After the performance, Mayer took to his Sirius XM radio show, Life with John Mayer, to throw some major kudos Bryan's way, calling his concert "one of the most incredible things I’ve seen in years."

“He’s cracked some code that I have been waiting for someone to crack,” he continued. “He’s tapped into a thing with people that should give everyone hope. Sometimes you start feeling like, ‘Oh, it’s going to be a long time before a lot of people like one thing again,’ [but] a lot of people like Zach Bryan shows. Myself included. It was unbelievable.”

Likewise, Bryan and Springsteen's collaborative effort on the album likely refers to the unreleased track "Sandpaper," which the pair performed together at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., in March, per footage shared by the arena on Instagram.

Prior to that performance, Bryan performed "Sandpaper" live for the first time as a solo effort at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., Springsteen's home state.

Just two months later in the Big Apple, Bryan and Springsteen took to the stage together alongside "Alaska" singer Maggie Rogers at Madison Square Garden to perform Bryan's hit song "Revival"

Bryan and his girlfriend Brianna "Chickenfry" Lapaglia have openly shown their love for the "Glory Days" hitmaker in recent months, with Bryan frequently donning a "United States Vs. Bruce Springsteen" hat in videos shared on social media.
