WATERLOO ROAD'S KATIE GRIFFITHS GIVES BIRTH! CHLO GRAINGER ACTRESS SHARES FIRST PICTURE OF BABY BOY CASSIUS
Waterloo Road star Katie Griffiths has given birth to her first child.
The actress, who is best known for playing Chlo Grainger in the TV show, shared the first picture of her newborn on Instagram on Sunday.
She wrote: 'Welcome to the world Cassius. After 10 months of waiting, we’re so happy to finally meet you.
'I’ve been quite unsure if I would post photos of him on my Instagram so this may well be one of the only ones.
'But after 10 months of sharing pregnancy photos it seemed only fair to post the result.'
On May 30, Katie shared the last picture of herself heavily pregnant as she posed with her partner Matthew Wardle as they went to watch the Michael Jackson theatre show.
It seems her baby was overdue when she posted it so she may have given birth a couple of weeks ago.
Katie wrote: 'Well if he’s going to be stubborn and not be on time then I’m off to the theatre! Experienced huge amounts of nostalgia and talent last night
'Put simply everyone involved showed how to make a mind blowing piece of musical theatre and what a back catalog of music material they had to work with!
'Genuinely don’t know where to start with……..I’m shook…..send help….too much talent, nope, can’t.'
Katie first appeared in Waterloo Road in 2006, when the first episode was aired and made her last appearance in 2009.
She reprised her role as Chlo for one episode in 2023 but her character was promptly killed off.
