DANIEL BEDINGFIELD FANS STUNNED BY TRANSFORMATION 23 YEARS AFTER POP HIT

He's best known for his 2001 smash hit, Gotta Get Thru this, but singer Daniel Bedingfield has retreated from the limelight since soaring to huge fame.

Following his global success, the singer, 44, made the decision to shun the showbiz lifestyle, but could still be mistaken for an A-lister thanks to his dashing new look.

Daniel, who is the elder brother of Natasha Bedingfield, previously showed off a transformation on Instagram back in May 2022, with a smouldering selfie. In the black and white snap, he can be seen staring broodingly into the camera showing off his salt and pepper beard and a hint of chest hair.

He wears a printed hooded top and a necklace, looking worlds away from his former pop crooner self.

Daniel captioned the post: "Loving the strength returning to my heart finally, after all that Trump, covid, stuck in America b******t. I'm free!"

Fans flocked to comment on Daniel's new look, with one writing: "Looking mighty fine".

Another wrote: "You're a gorgeous man beast Daniel B", while someone else commented: "Wow look at you ! Stunning so good to see you x."

His sister Natasha also commented, writing: "Wow!!! U are stunning."

More recently, Daniel posted another snap, captioning it: "Family before gig photo." In the image he is wearing a Manga-style Tshirt, teamed with bright trousers and white trainers. Again, fans gushed over him in the comments, calling him "fit" and "handsome". "What a handsome trio," said one person, with another commenting: "Still as handsome." A third added: "You're so damn cute," while a fourth said: "Look at the fittie in the middle - we need new music Dan been waaaaaaay to long."

Since his singing heyday, Daniel has kept a low profile, however he's still a songwriter and has helped to pen hits for stars such as Pixie Lott.

Daniel wrote his smash hit single Gotta Get Thru This in his bedroom, and it went to hit number one in the music charts.

The album of the same name became one of the best-selling albums of the early 2000s (selling over 1.6m in the UK alone).

It had six top 40 hits and three number one singles.

He even went on to be named Best Male at the 2004 Brit Awards, before releasing his second album Second First Impression the same year. His other number one singles include If You're Not The One and Never Gonna Leave Your Side.

Daniel's other hits included James Dean, I Can't Read You, Nothing Hurts Like Love and Wrap My Words Around You.

Daniel's last appearance in the UK came when he joined the West End production of Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds alongside the likes of Jimmy Nail, David Essex and Heidi Range.

It was short-lived however, as he quit after just three weeks, amidst rumours of tensions backstage.
