Zach Wilson's mom has spoken out about her son's romantic Italian proposal to model girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno.
Lisa Wilson is over the moon for the incoming Broncos quarterback after getting engaged to the New Jersey native over the weekend.
'Love this beauty with All my [heart] couldn’t have hand picked a better partner for my son. Congrats @nicolettedellanno and @zachwilson,' the proud mom wrote on her Instagram Story in a since-expired post, alongside a photo of the newly engaged couple.
The former Jets quarterback, who is gearing up for his first season in Denver this Fall, popped the question to Dellanno while on a luxurious European getaway.
'To the love of my life, I never truly understood what love was until I met you. You're not just my partner, but my best friend and my everything,' 24-year-old Wilson captioned a social media post on Sunday.
'I can't wait to make a lifetime of memories with you, Nic I love you,' he added.
He shared a series of snaps of the couple on the Amalfi Coast, which highlighted her stunning diamond sparkler.
Dellanno looked gorgeous in a white silk dress with cutouts around her waist and an open back.
The model also carried a white handbag and accessorized with a stack of bracelets on her wrist as she styled her bright blonde locks in loose curls.
Meanwhile, Wilson wore an orange button down with white linen pants and sneakers.
'Zach, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me,' Dellanno captioned her post.
'Everyday I admire your strength and i'm so incredibly proud of you. I'm so in love with you and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together i love you,' she added.
The pair started dating in 2022 following Wilson's split from longtime girlfriend Abbey Gile.
The Brigham Young alum is gearing up for his first season with the Broncos, where he's hoping to be named the starting quarterback ahead of veteran Jarrett Stidham and Bo Nix, who the Broncos selected at No 12 overall in this year's NFL Draft.
Wilson previously went 12-21 as the Jets' starter and was deemed expendable when Aaron Rodgers returned from a torn Achilles tendon suffered in last season's opener.
