RYLAN CLARK'S BLUNT FOUR-WORD RESPONSE TO STRICTLY COME DANCING RUMOURS

Rylan Clark has firmly stated that he will never participate as a contestant on ' Strictly Come Dancing, revealing that "the answer is no".

The 35 year old TV personality, who hosted the spin-off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two from 2019 to 2023, believes it wouldn't be fair for him to compete, despite receiving numerous offers to take to the dancefloor and battle it out for the Glitterball trophy.

As reported by the Daily Star's Hot TV column, Rylan, who recently debuted a new look online, said: "I get asked to do 'Strictly' all the time, but the answer is no. I wouldn't do it." He added, "It wouldn't be fair for me to go back and compete. It would be the same as if I went back into 'Celebrity Big Brother '. It wouldn't be fair."

Rylan, who previously hosted It Takes Two'with Zoe Ball and later Janette Manrara, feels it would be strange to transition from host to contestant. After leaving 'It Takes Two', the former ' X Factor ' star revealed to The Sun that he needed some time to himself to figure out his next career move.

He explained: "I've been doing the same type of job for 10 years. For me, I just got to the point, 'What do I want? What would I like to be? Who do I want to be? What show do I want to do in the future? " He further added, "And it's really hard to try to work that out while you're doing different things. So I had to take that step back, have a minute to myself, let it breathe, and not turn on the TV and see yourself while you're watching what everyone else is doing."
