RAY J POSTS ABOUT 'HURTFUL' EXPERIENCE AT BET AWARDS AFTER SCUFFLE WITH ZEUS NETWORK CEO: 'I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE'

“I'm really at a breakin point!” the singer wrote on Instagram.

Ray J is reflecting on a difficult experience at the BET Awards.

The singer wrote a lengthy statement on his Instagram story after being involved in a puzzling altercation with Lemuel Plummer, the founder of the streaming service Zeus Network, at a BET Awards afterparty on Sunday. “Then it all went bad!” Ray J wrote. “First at #BET and then later on too! I'm really at a breakin point!”

In his statement, the musician discussed complex feelings toward money. “To provide for my family and have generational wealth was always the plan,” he said. “But money is evil and people are bad and I can't take it anymore!”

Reps for Ray J and Plummer did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly’s request for comment.

Ray J went on to question reality and allege that he was barred from returning to the BET Awards at some point during the ceremony.

“These chain of reactions are stemming from being locked in a false reality / confused about this whole life!” he wrote. “The s--- that happened tonight to me at the awards today was hurtful. I'm working backstage and then I go take a break in the back and BET wouldn't let me back in for some reason.”

Reps for BET did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.

“I don't know who they didn't want me to see - it was weird,” he continued. “Anyway I left and went back to silence my frustrations - flashing back to my everyday thought of my life --the truth that's given is a LIE!”

Ray J was filmed in an altercation with Plummer outside a BET Awards afterparty hosted by GloRilla on Sunday night. In the video, Ray J and Plummer appear to stand face to face before another man stands between them. Ray then appears to throw a punch at Plummer as a crowd of onlookers attempt to separate the two men. The musician then seemingly walks around a car to find Plummer in the crowd again, but is moved away by another figure and eventually gets into the car.

In his Instagram statement, Ray J said that he’s traveling out of the country, and that recent events have caused a stir internally. “The s--- that [is] happening is mind blowing - it's making me suicidal and uncomfortable with the perception of reality!” he wrote.”THEY PAID ME TO SHUT UP AND I DID! - I FEEL BAD AND I HATE MYSELF FOR IT! I DONT WANT ANYMORE OF YOUR DIRTY MONEY!!”

Ray J has been in conflict with Plummer for several months, repeatedly calling out Zeus Network and its founder as he promotes his own network, Tronix. At one point, Ray J called Plummer the “Black Jeffrey Epstein” and accused him of abusive behavior at Zeus.

“B4! Or. Right after I die .. I promise you I will be [free] of it all and the world can move on with what is real for me no matter the consequences I have to face on the other side!!” he wrote. “I TRIED TO DO IT FOR REAL LAST TIME… I'm sorry to myself and [my] sister - sorry Bran, I will make it right, I won't let them get away with it! I TOLD THE PEOPLE CLOSE TO ME-THAT I FELT LIKE SOMETHING IS ABOUT TO HAppen.”
