JENNIE GARTH AND EX-HUSBAND PETER FACINELLI ARE FRIENDS AGAIN — AFTER HE UNBLOCKED HER ON INSTAGRAM

The former couple divorced in 2012 after 11 years of marriage, and share three daughters together

Jennie Garth is becoming friends again with her ex-husband, Peter Facinelli, following a period of tension between the former couple.

On Sunday, June 30, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 52, opened up about rekindling her friendship with Facinelli, 50, during a five-minute episode of her I Choose Me podcast, released just a few weeks after the exes spoke candidly about their divorce in an earlier episode.

"Guys, we are officially friends now," Garth said, speaking about how she and Facinelli have been getting along since their June 11 podcast episode. "He even unblocked me from Instagram."

"I've been blocked on his socials for so long that I [stopped] caring years ago," she continued. "But I'm unblocked now, you guys. That's that's big news."

Garth also spoke about how the former couple has been spending more time together and mixing their blended families, which include their three daughters Luca, 27, Lola, 21, and Fiona, 17, as well as Facinelli's 1-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with his fiancée, actress Lily Anne Harrison.

According to the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, her ex-husband lent her a cooler for the weekend and let her use his guest room for a fitting. Garth may even be attending an important milestone in Jack's life.

"He invited me to his son, Jack's, christening. And this week, get ready for it — we are all gonna be going on a boat together with the whole family," she revealed.

"Whether we push one another overboard, that's still TBD," she joked.

Garth and Facinelli tied the knot in 2001, five years after meeting on the set of the TV movie Unfinished Affair. Eleven years later in March 2012, Facinelli filed for divorce three months after the couple separated.

“You get the rug pulled from under you,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress told PEOPLE at the time after the end of their marriage. “I have no landscape of what my future will look like, where before I had something that I can count on.”

Despite their difficulties splitting up — including dealing with co-parenting, splitting custody of the couple's three children and their kids meeting each other's new partners — the pair seemed to be on better terms during their two-part podcast conversation last month.

"I don’t look at it like it’s a burden that they have to carry for the rest of their lives of this divorce," Facinelli said in one of the June podcast episodes, opening up about how he felt after their daughters were introduced to Garth's husband, actor Dave Abrams, whom she wed in 2015.

"I really look at it like, 'Wow, they’re incredibly fortunate to have had now these stepparents that they've gotten to know, that have added to their personalities, that they’ve grown through them,'" he added.
